A cheer for surrealism! This piece is inspired by Salvadore Dali's Sleep from 1937. When I saw the painting I felt the need of breaking that silence and awakening the Dreamer.

Loved the animation. Isn't the inner and the outer a moebius strip along which the here and now is the orientation. Great soundtrack too.

Thanks, man! And you are totally right. Thats also why microcosm as well as macrocosm gets more similar to each other the farther you go. If something is inner or outer is just up to you. Thats not a new insight but an exciting topic nevertheless!
What I personally noticed the most after being aware of it is that most people think infinity mostly in "one direction". Like, the universe must be endless and you cannot imagine how far it goes. But its exactly the same with a little stone in front of you or even with yourself. We know atoms etc. but thats not more than the farthest stars we "saw" so far.

Danke, danke! Das ist ein verblüffendes Thema mit welchem ich mich gerade auseinandersetze und auch in dieser Arbeit angeschnitten habe. Die Visualisierung von Micro und Macro liegt erstaunlich nah beieinander. In dieser Arbeit handelt es sich tatsächlich sogar "eher" um die innere, als die äußere Welt. Da es aber im gesamten eine surrealistische Arbeit ist, ist eine andere Deutung keinesfalls "falsch".

Falls Du die Animation dazu noch nicht gesehen hast, weise ich gerne noch einmal darauf hin.

Vielen Dank für die Erläuterung. Du hast Recht - das ist tatsächlich ein sehr faszinierendes Thema. Da ich ja selbst eher von der Fotografie komme (3D-Animationen und/oder 3D-Composing ist für mich ein Buch mit sieben Siegeln), beschäftige ich mich immer wieder mal mit Makrofotografie. Ein unglaublich weites Feld und extrem faszinierend, diese "kleine" Welt.
Bin schon gespannt auf weitere Werke von dir.

My god. Very very inspiring. Can't help not to notice that powerful feeling of calm before the tempest and yet it being just a very small particle in the immensity we call the universe.
